Unique Churches
Sanctuary in Krzeptówki - Built by the highlanders as a votive offering for the survival of Pope John Paul II after the assassination attempt in St. Peter's Square. It is one of our national sanctuaries.
Chapel in Jaszczurówka - A magnificent example of architecture designed by Stanisław Witkiewicz. This chapel showcases the Zakopane style at its finest and is a must-see for visitors.
Old Church in Zakopane - Located next to the cemetery at Pęksowy Brzyzek (Zakopane's necropolis for the distinguished), this is the oldest church in the Tatra capital. Nearby, you’ll also find the Gąsienica Family Stone Chapel, which is worth visiting.
Sanctuary in Bachledówka - Situated on a small hill of the same name, this site commemorates the visits of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński. It is the closest sanctuary to us.
Ludźmierz - The spiritual capital of Podhale and a significant pilgrimage destination, especially on August 15th, when crowds of pilgrims arrive.
St. Anne’s Church in Ząb - The nearest historic church, dating back to the early 20th century. Both the design and construction were entirely managed by local highlander artists and craftsmen, including the renowned sculptor Wojciech Brzega, who crafted the main altar.
